Is One Cinematographer Sufficient?

Film, unlike photography, is a long format medium. Having two angles that complement each other is crucial to a wedding event and ensuring greater coverage. Hence, we come in twos.

Is Pre Wedding Essential?

We can only say that there are more pros than cons. Often, a pre wedding session allows a couple to enjoy the moment by slowing down. In contrast, you can expect a wedding day to be hectic, this may result in a rushed photoshoot which is not optimal. Not forgetting that, your time is also shared between a Photographer and the Cinematographer.

Pricing Considerations

What goes behind the scene: Consultation, location recce, crew transportations, pre event shoot, professional equipment & logistics rental, man hours (no. of videographer & editor), music licensing and editing software subscription.

Booking Confirmation

To secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining of your payment is due once the event coverage has been completed. Payment can be made digitally via Paynow, Paylah or Bank Transfer.

Postponement Policy

Our production allows for a one time postponement (with official reason) of wedding event for up to 6 months from the original date of production, with no additional fee. This is subject to our availability and this policy will be revised from time to time.

A top-up option available for both pre-wedding video and wedding day highlights, return within 10 days. Our usual returns are within 3 - 4 months from the day of production.

We rewind the best moments that happened during your wedding day. A deliverable which is inclusive in our starter package.

( Same Day Morning Highlights )

A top-up option which features moments from the morning ceremony. During your wedding interval, a certain amount of time is required in order for the video to be produced. We recommend scheduling this on the big screen when all the guests and couple are seated (eg. after the 2nd march-in) so as to capture all the reactions.

( Same Day Extended Highlights )

A top-up option which features moments from the morning ceremony to your 1st march-in. During your wedding interval, a certain amount of time is required in order for the video to be produced. Music Licensing

Music licensing is an essential component for a media company. A music license would grant the legal usage of a wedding video in both online or offline platforms. Online medium refers to web or social media sharing, while offline usage refers to the use of a wedding video for an outdoor showcase i.e. wedding ballroom or event space.

We want the best for our couples, so we have a wide selection of music from various legal music providers to pertain to each unique project. Our delivery includes a digital license receipt as proof of our legal use.

While we understand some couples may have suggested the use of a movie or a television drama soundtrack, here at Phan Films, we kindly reject such requests as this may cause plausible future implications in copyright infringement. Our Client comes first, your safe interest is our priority.

Copyright

A delicate subject, but we will try our best to explain. Think of copyright like your valuables or hard earned possessions stored dearly in a safe box. In fairness, full copyright of the wedding film belongs to Phan Films.

The transfer of full copyright ownership is agreeable with an additional fee. However, trademarks, patent and / or third party license is non-transferrable.
